Brand Crisis: 10 crisis response myths (The Good, The Bad, The Spin)

The Good, the Bad, the Spin is a blog about the news media, public relations practices and crisis communications. It is written by Bob Conrad, the communications officer for the Nevada Department of Conservation of Natural Resources.

I read Bob’s blog religiously, as his views and recommendations are always on-point, concise, and insightful.  His most recent post about 10 common myths regarding crisis communications for brands is no different, and left me personally feeling as though I’d found a local voice that truly understood today’s PR strategy in the current climate.

Having managed a few recent crisis communications for SmartBrand’s clients, I can tell you that reading Bob’s myths rang true in every instance.
